Guerlain Rouge G l'extrait in Gourmandise

As I mentioned in this post I bought Guerlain Rouge G l'extrait in Gourmandise from vouchers I got from John Lewis. I was originally going to get Orgueil seen on the lovely Lipglossiping, but when I saw Gourmandise it was love, instant and deep (cough). Anyway, this is a gorgeous colour, a bright raspberry with coral undertones, great for pale skin tones and probably most skin tones in fact.

The sponge applicator easily applies the creamy, opaque lip colour. It's incredibly pigmented, only a wee bit is needed for full colour. It is a bit drying on my lips when it sets to a semi-matte finish but the colour pay-off is so good I don't particularly care. It's also very long-wearing and smells gently of violets. It is £31 though, but if your looking for a bit of a luxurious treat I definitely recommend Guerlain Rouge G l'extrait.

Available from John Lewis or Escentual has them for £27.90

Have you tried them? what do you think?
