Today is the launch of Illamasqua's newest collection I'mPerfection and I went along to Glasgow Debenhams to have a look. The collection contains 5 limited edition speckle nail polishes, 3 blushes duos (two of which are new), a new shade of lipstick, a new (GREEN) lipgloss, a new blush up brush, and precision ink in Abyss. I love the imagery and ethos behind this collection. So called 'imperfections' should be celebrated, we are all different and this doesn't make us unequal, it makes us unique.
It was a pretty tough decision what to buy, of course it'd be great to have it all but I went for the speckled nail polish in Fragile. This is a beautiful eggshell blue, I really love it and I'll definitely be getting some more. I also went for Shoot, the green lipgloss. The very lovely sales assistant explained that this can be worn with other lip colours creating unique shades. I've tried it with Armani lip maestro in 503 and it turned it into a gorgeous wine colour. Once I've played about with it some more I'll post some photos of it with different lip colours. Finally, I got Precision Ink in Scribe so I could make my own speckled eyeliner. You can see it on CamilovesKiwi's blog. It's just fantastic, isn't it?
