Lipstick Queen's Sinner 90 Percent Pigment Lipstick in Hot Rose

(You can also see me wearing Hot Rose Sinner in this post )

This is my first Lipstick Queen lipstick and well WOW, it's quite simply a stunner of a lipstick. It's one of the best lipsticks I've ever tried. Sinners are full coverage, opaque lipsticks while their counterparts Saints offer sheer versions of the same shade selections. Nice. Here's what Poppy King (the Lipstick Queen) says about it:

"I wanted to create the exact type of vintage glamour I was looking for  lipstick but with modern touches." Poppy
Poppy designed Sinners to be the ultimate full-coverage matte lipsticks with 90% pigment. The Sinner formula takes creaminess to a whole new level. The formulation glides on, lasts beautifully and feels great on the lips. Each shade has been meticulously designed to be the ultimate in its category - lighting up your face and your mood
  • Each Sinner shade is also available in the Saint formulation with 10% pigment for a gorgeous tint of color.
  • Matte opaque lipstick with 90% pigment
  • Moisturizing
  • Long lasting
  • Fragrance free
  • The glamorous look of the Golden Years of Hollywood but with modern comfort and technology."(ref.)

Hot Rose Sinner applies like a dream, the texture is smooth and creamy. The first swipe packs a punch of pigment. It lasts for ages too without drying my lips. It eventually fades to a lovely pink tint. I haven't experienced bleeding with this. There is a bit of transfer but nothing that really ruins how it looks on the lips. The shape of the lipstick is perfect for applying straight to the lips without having to use a brush (something I never really do anyway).

I think this would look amazing on most skin tones, it really brightens my complexion and would particularly good on darker skin tones. If Hot Rose Sinner isn't for you, there's lots to choose from: berries, corals, pinks and nudes.

Space.NK is using Hot Rose Sinner in their La Vie En Rose campaign. You can watch a video of it in action here. Isn't it beautiful?

Hot Rose costs £18 and is currently on back order. For more info and to order click here.

Have you tried Lipstick Queen's lipsticks? any colour recommendations? Thanks!

T.

    1. it's amazing isn;t it? actually, I'm just looking at All About Me by Topshop and it's almost a dupe for it, not quite as deep though but very close if you're looking for a hot pink x
